    The Technology Connect is a start-up business owned and operated by Cam Guthrie.  Finishing up a four years stint as an Army Signal Officer and years of keeping up with the latest and greatest in technology, he decided to use his knowledge to help the citizens of Aiken and the surrounding communities.

    For as long as he can remember, Cam has been fascinated by how things worked and by keeping up with the ever changing news and trends in technology.  Now that he is older, he wants to put his hobby, skills and professional training to good use to help those with their technology questions. 

    Cam Guthrie graduated from Wofford College, in Spartanburg, SC, with a degree in Business Economics.  He is a Brother of Sigma Alpha Epsilon and was also a leader in his ROTC Battalion.  He toned his technical knowledge while in College by helping fellow students with all kinds of Computer needs; from network issues to retrieving that lost term paper they spent all night typing.  In the Military, Captain Guthrie has served as a Platoon Leader, Battle Captain for the Country of Kuwait, Cable and network project manager, Network Engineer for the 63rd Signal Battalion and Automation officer, Network Engineer and Webmaster for the 35th Signal Brigade.  He has been the project officer in charge from such missions as an 8 month Cable Installation to a Secure Server instillation with Thin Client/Citrix solution. 

     Cam lives with his wife, Rebecca, and Dogs, Larry and Farley, in Aiken.
